 disy is an SME founded in 1997 and concentrates it's efforts since it's beginning in the development of standard products and procedures for information management and information systems. disy has two major business areas, information systems and telecommunications. disy currently offers following main products:
- disy Preludio is a metadata-suite providing the complete functionality to search for, edit and manage multimedia and other metadata.
- disy Cadenza is a platform for information integration and reporting. It has become standard in several German states and is tailored to the specific requirements of environmental and geographic data.
- disy GISterm is a full-fledged geographic information system, developed entirely in Java and accessible through fat Java clients as well
as thin HTML-based MapViewer-Clients. - disy Web&Voice Platform provides the basis for telecommunications services which combine telephony with web applications. As a hybrid platform
it supports both the standard PSTN network and voice-over-IP services. - disy Conference is a fully automated, easy-to-use conferencing solution which connects people around the world. It provides comprehensive
services for Web & Voice phone conferences, including standard telephony, voice-over-ip, conference recording and application sharing. - disy Ready Audio Conference provides conferencing on demand with web control and without registration.
In addition to these products disy is developing tailor made information systems and services for pubic and private organisations. disy has years of experience in the area of data and metadata management. One major part of disy's business model consists of using and productizing research results into commercial projects.
